In the early months of 1998, Rose City Pepperheads
was born out of a certified kitchen in Portland,
Oregon - the brainchild of Susan, a serious pepper
fan and a few of her true believers. Together they
brainstormed about flavors - which evolved into
steaming pots loaded with the tastiest peppers and
fruits this side of the border.
Several years and many flavors later, the Pepperheads
have spread their message throughout the Pacific
Northwest and have brought their sweet burn to thousands
of die-hard pepper fans via open markets and local
vendors. In just the past two years their pepper
jellies have received national Scovie awards and
regional press from Sunset Magazine.
So what's next for the Pepperheads? More flavors
and an unrelenting quest to make the best pepper
jelly money can buy.
